YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A SUPERHERO
“The aim of our instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.” (1 Timothy 1:5) You don’t have to be a superhero to make a difference. It is the love of Christ filling your heart daily and driving all your actions that make you a force to be reckoned with. Love is the most powerful force on the face of this earth. It is love that moved God to take pity on us and come to our rescue in an act of benevolence even while we were yet in transgression (John 3:16; Romans 2:4) Every act of sincere, selfless love always defies the odds and is able to accomplish far more than the eyes can see. Genuine love does not call undue attention to itself, but has the kind of impact that touches people at the core of their existence and makes lasting impressions of goodness on them. This love acts not for what it can get but for what it can give, and leaves people fundamentally better off than it met them.
