IT IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD

"Impossible" is a concept that has relevance only to the extent that we limit its application - our thoughts and expectations - to what man can do.
"Jesus looked at them intently and said, 'Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.'" (Mark 10:27)
When you look at a situation and conclude that there is nothing you can do, or that it is impossible to see how you can make it, let me assure you that you are quite right, as our Scripture text makes absolutely clear. Yes, in your own power there is certainly a limit to what you can do, but to say that is not the same as saying, "give up and quit."

Only when we have come to the end of ourselves are we rightly positioned and able to KNOW God whose power and authority is unlimited - and then only can we learn to "be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might".

With you, a mere mortal, there are impossibilities and limitations, but not with God who is omniscient (all knowing), omnipresent (ever present) and omnipotent (all powerful)..."Everything is possible with God!" There is nothing too hard for God. The only limitation is how much of who God is and what He says do you believe? Can you see yourself living daily in vital contact with the God whose power is unlimited, unassailable and unstoppable - the God who is neither weak nor incapable?

"My thoughts are not your thoughts, my ways are not your ways", says your God whose word never returns to Him unaccomplished. He is powerful enough to cause every word that has gone out of His mouth to produce His will in the lives of anyone who believes.

It is impossible, on the basis of the laws of nature, for a barren, post-menopause 90-year old woman to conceive and bear a child, just as it is impossible for a virgin to conceive and bear a child, but it is not impossible with God (Hebrews 11:11; Luke 1:34-38). For neither of these situations which clearly express human limitations according to natural laws can limit God who created all things and put the laws into force in the first place (Luke 1:45).

It is impossible to walk away unscathed from a furnace of fire when even those who threw you into it did not survive the intensity of the radiating heat (Dan 3:20-25). However, all things are possible when the ever-present God walks with you in the midst of the fire (Isa 43:2). It does not matter how hot the trial you are going through gets, what you must remember is that God is going through it with you. By faith you can experience the power of His presence and have sweet victory. Praise God!

There are many things that are humanly impossible, but with God absolutely nothing is impossible. Indeed, Jesus Christ in His Godhood was very clear when He said, "Without me you can do NOTHING". In other words, even that which we consider to be within our natural human capability would be impossible without the grace of the one by whom you and for whom you were created.

We must consequently move from this position of confidence in God who can do anything to a place of affirming both in word and deed its practical reality in our day to day affairs, which is to believe the Master's word that, "Anything is possible if a person believes” (Mark9:23).

Like Paul therefore, we can each boldly say: "I CAN DO ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me!" Yes, with God, it is possible!

God bless you.
